Kanooz Contracting: a website Google can trust again
The site went down repeatedly and was invisible on Google beyond its own name: 78 pages not indexed, mobile Lighthouse 59, server response over 3 seconds. The fix was systematic, not flashy.
The project
Kanooz Contracting Co. is an industrial services contractor based in Jubail. Its WordPress site sat on weak shared hosting and went down repeatedly. An audit (July-September 2026) found 27 pages indexed and 78 not indexed, 52 of them old dead URLs; a mobile Lighthouse score of 59 with an 8.9-second largest contentful paint; 134 images with no alt text; no schema or social tags; and traffic that was almost entirely people who already knew the company name.
One constraint shaped every fix: hosting and content delivery had to stay inside the GCC, so no CDN.
My role
Full SEO and competitor audit, performance and caching work, crawl cleanup, schema, page titles and meta descriptions, LinkedIn content, and company profile and print design.
Result
Repeat-visit server response dropped from 3.1 seconds to about 0.5, and mobile Lighthouse rose from 59 to 68. The crawl was cleaned up: 13 redirect rules covering 26 old URLs, and 16 dead URLs now return a proper 410 Gone. Every edited page was reindexed and recrawled, and the sitemap is healthy.
Early position moves after the first round: the catalyst services page moved from position 11 to 8.8, and the ATC page from 16.9 to 14. These are early reads on branded-adjacent terms - the honest state is a healthier site, not a traffic story yet.
Alongside the website work: 70+ LinkedIn posts planned, written and published for the company page, and the company profile and print collateral designed and delivered print-ready.
