Free Cool
I translated a UAE technical company’s redesign requirements into a design brief, sourced the right UI/UX specialist and managed the project through multiple review cycles.
The project
In 2022, I was engaged by Free Cool, a UAE-based company with a technical product portfolio, to manage a redesign of its website.
My role was not to create the interface myself. I first worked through the company’s requirements, products and visual preferences, then translated that understanding into a clearer direction for the website.
Because dedicated UI/UX design was outside the work I wanted to execute directly, I sourced a specialist whose visual approach matched the client and the type of product-heavy corporate site required.
I managed the engagement from there: organizing the content, briefing the designer, coordinating communication, reviewing iterations and translating client feedback into actionable revisions.
The resulting concept organized Free Cool’s product offering, advantages, international case studies, brands and after-sales information into a much more contemporary digital presentation.
The redesign was ultimately not implemented, so I present this project as an example of digital project leadership, specialist sourcing and design coordination, rather than as a launched website.
