I had the opportunity to attend WordCamp Kerala 2023 as a volunteer. As someone who had been using WordPress for over six years, I was excited to finally be part of this community event. In this blog post, I want to share my experience at WordCamp Kerala 2023, including what I learned, the people I met, and the sessions I watched.

As a volunteer, my role at WordCamp Kerala 2023 was to help with the sponsorship area, which meant that I had limited time to attend the sessions. However, being part of the event was an amazing experience. I saw firsthand the dedication and hard work that goes into organizing a WordCamp, and I was thrilled to be part of it. I had the opportunity to meet other volunteers and make new connections, which made the event even more memorable.

One of the most valuable aspects of WordCamp Kerala 2023 was the networking opportunities. I was able to connect with professionals from various companies, including Gijo Varghese from FlyingPress, Vinod Chako from FlexiCloud , AWSM Innovations (that's my favorite name for a company 😉 ) & Mozilor whom I admire and look up to. I was also able to meet several agency owners and freelancers who shared their experiences and insights with me. Talking to these individuals was a highlight of the event, and I came away with new ideas and perspectives on how to use WordPress more effectively.

The WordPress community is a welcoming and supportive group of individuals who share a passion for this powerful content management system. At WordCamp Kerala 2023, I was struck by the energy and enthusiasm of the attendees, who were all there to learn, share, and connect. The event was a reminder of how important it is to be part of a community and to work together to achieve common goals.
